Socially Responsible Business of the Year

Vodafone Fiji Limited won the “Socially Responsible Business of the Year” award the the 2019 Prime Minister’s International Business Awards last week.

The “Socially Responsible Business of the Year Award” recognizes a company that has demonstrated principles of the Government’s Green Growth Framework by establishing a positive, sustainable and societal impact as part of their business journey. The Award recognizes a company that can demonstrate a successful commitment to managing their social, environmental and financial obligations.

“This award is dedicated to Fijis communities, partner networks and stakeholders who allowed us to work with them to make a World of Difference,” said Foundation Executive Ambalika Devi.

“Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation since its inception in 2004 has made difference to the lifes of 800 villages/ settlement, 400 schools and 1500 partner charities.”

“We continue to identify needs and make difference face to face and through use of technology to some 100,000 annually.”

“Thank you prime Ministers International business awards for this gesture.”

“We will continue to live by our passion for Vanua.”

The Prime Minister’s International Business Awards Fiji are the most prestigious business awards and recognise and reward the best in business in Fiji.

This is the second time Vodafone Fiji has won the PM’s IBA in this category, the first one being in 2016.
